![]() I included some helpful pictures of the townies and NPCs’ original names for convenience, in case you would like to give them their names back. Oh - and when you add a neighbourhood as a subhood, townie and NPC names get randomized. I also highly recommend running the HoodChecker by Mootilda on any neighbourhood after adding it, whether it’s a main hood or subhood, as it will fix problems that the game itself creates, like graves getting lost if the neighbourhood’s IDNO is changed (if you don’t know what this means, don’t worry, you don’t really need to - HoodChecker will fix), or memories getting partially corrupted when you add a subhood (this always happens for all subhoods, because the game is stupid.) I also run the HC regularly on any hood I play to clean up random garbage the game generates. You will need to add them ingame as a shopping district, and you will need THIS MOD by Mootilda to make it available. The subhood versions (you can have both available in your game, they don’t conflict) need to be installed in your \The Sims 2 Open For Business\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate\ folder (or the equivalent for the Ultimate Collection). The main hood versions (pick one!) you can just drop in your \Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods\ folder and play like normal. Subhood (shopping district) WITHOUT townies (has Kaylynn Langerak and Gordon King) Main Hood version WITHOUT townies (has Kaylynn Langerak and Gordon King) Given basic memories to Skip Broke, Darleen Dreamer and Michael Bachelor, since these are the usual favourites for resurrection among players.Įnough of me babbling, on to the downloads!.Given the Caliente sisters some interesting recessive genetics. ![]() Given new faces to Darleen Dreamer, and Michael Bachelor (Skell’s version).Īnd in this rerelease version, in addition to some minor fixes, I have:.Bella Goth has also been relinked, and “recovered”, and is now a townie.Fixed Skip Broke so he’s no longer “unlinked” - this means that Brandi’s unborn baby will get his DNA, and has a random chance of being a boy or girl, instead of being an opposite-sex clone of Brandi.Probably some more stuff I’ve forgotten.Fixed broken photo albums in a few cases.Fixed up relationships that were weird, family trees that were wrong, etc.Fixed and cleaned up memories of all sims.(Bear in mind that I don’t guarantee that they’re safe though, resurrect at your own risk!) Fixed the remaining dead sims, so that all have character data, non-borked faces, and are the correct age and sex etc, so they can (probably) be safely resurrected.Deleted the second generation of dead sims in family trees to save space/reduce the amount of character files (some may not care for this change, but it really helps if you want to make an uberhood/combined hood with lots of character files).Fixed DNA of all sims, including adding recessive genetics wherever applicable, and faces based on broken templates.Deleted garbage data (relationships, wants
